What engine to replace my 1995 5.7 - 10/18/2007 2:45:24 PM    brusk   Posts: 1 Joined: 10/18/2007 Status: offline The 95 has 200K miles on it and its time for more power not sure what I should do though. Rebuild the stock with better pistons, heads, cam and headers get a 96+ 5.7 vortec and add cam, headers or spend the 4900 bucks on a 5.7 crate engine that comes with all accessories and pcm that has like 350HP and 385 ft lb torque that goes right in. That's alot of money not sure how much it would cost to rebuild the stock and do it right. Post #: 1
