Upgrading reversing lights on an '03

I find the reversing (back-up) lights too dim at night. Can anyone suggest how big a bulb can go into the normal tail-light. Has anyone gotten experience with LED replacements - I see I can get a 24 LED bulb replacement. I would prefer not to go to a HID conversion level. I have bought a White Night unit - only to find it wont fit with the hitch.

ive done the led's on back they r nice but dont shine wide unless you have the multi function bulbs so you 24 led's should work fine. hid's are the right way to go but are costly. [image]local://upfiles/8968/360060AD160342309BF8701FB79B6BD8.jpg[/image]

also my bulb is only the 12 leds anything bigger wont fit in bulb hole.
