My girlfriend just bought an 03 LT. It has the inline 6 and is fully loaded. But, since it is used we don't know if it has a tow package or not or even if that is a standard feature. Is there anyway to look this up by VIN or other identification? My research so far says I should look into the gear ratio, hitch, and transmission. I wouldn't know how to locate a transmission cooler, didn't find any gear ratio stamped on the rear axle, but at least I did find the hitch receiver :). We currently have a light trailer and two Harley's (about 2500 lbs total) and I'm certain we are OK towing that. But we would like to get a boat next spring and would really just like to know how much her new truck can safely haul. I've done a little homework and searched this forum but so far I've come up short of my answer. Any advice or pointers where to look would be greatly appreciated. - Jeff

to the forum. Try sending a PM with your VIN to the second guy down on the top ten posters list. (zx...)

I am pretty sure all Trailblazers have a tow package standard. Chack out trailvoy.com for more info.
