Hi All.....i am totally new to your forum.I am from Cape Town, South Africa. I have a 1965 Studebaker Daytona, 350 ZZ4 crate engine, 650cfn Holley 4barrel, Worldclass T5 5speed transmission, MSD 6AL ignition, HEI style distributor. I recently bought a "cheater nitrous system"(plate system) rated between 150hp and 250hp.I also purchased a "Doctor Jacobs Programmable Nitrous Unit".Can anyone tell me how much nitrous my engine can handle? My intentions are not to use between 50hp and 75hp shot which will be staged with the "Doctor Jacobs Unit". Would like to use the correct amount in order to ensure non engine failure. Mario

You should be able to run 150 with no issues if you do NOT have hyperutechnic pistons, they ae very fragile and I would not recomend over 100 hit with those. If they are cast, you can rune the 150 wuth a good tune in it. Forged you can hit about 200 with your combo and make it live. MAKE SURE YOU PULL THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF TIMING!!!!!!! rule of humb is -2 Degrees for every 50 hp gain on nitrous or forced induction. And dono run platinum or iridium plugs, they hold heat and that leads to plug failuer in a HURRY

Yup they are a forged piston for sure, JE pistons was first to come out with the high silicone oiston alloy, they take a bit of a whooping, the silicone is to provide a bit of cushoin in the metal for detonation scenarios. Give that thing hell boy!!!
