There should be a paper on the inside of the underhood fuse box telling you which relay is which. I think I misdirected you to that location anyway. I don't have the info specific to the 1996 model, but in the 1998 and 1999 models, there is a drl fuse, which you have found; there is a drl module (Under the left side of the Instrument Panel, taped to the IP harness); and there's a drl relay (Under the left side of the IP, at the lower center of the convenience center). The "convenience center" is a panel of relays that's against the firewall under and to the left of the steering column.
