I have a couple questions about my '93 K2500HD 6.5L TD Pickup. Unfortunately, as far as I know, chips, programmers, tuners, of the sorts are out of the question. Everything's mechanical. I would like to know how to get some more power out of it without having to sacrifice fuel mileage, if possible make it better. Now I know this is probably a rookie question, but here it goes. Is it possible to mate up the NV5600 6 spd HD tranny (as seen behind the 02 and up Dodge Cummins), up to a 6.5L Turbo Diesel engine? If so, how much would something like this cost? What poses this question, is that both Dodge and Chevrolet used (an) NV4500 tranny behind their Diesel engines. I believe that the gearing was different, though. But is it possible? Im thinking in that alone, if it were possible, becaue I would have that extra gear between (current NV4500) 2nd and 3rd, that it would make my engine work a bit more effiecently. -Mike
