locate the fuel pump fuse and remove it.  start car and let run till it dies.  this will relieve fuel pressure in lines.  jack the car up from the back axle and raise to a height that is easy to work under.  ALWAYS use jackstands under the car when working, place them under the rear axle on the far ends.  you may find it easier to also remove the rear wheels.  the fuel filter is located on the backside passenger seat (outside the car of course) and is silver and bout the size of a soda can.  remove it and replace with a new one.  put your fuel filter fuse back in.  you may have to crank the car several time until you build fuel pressure back up.
