My roomie is going to assist me with a transmission swap on my Lumina because I am having issues with it. It hesitates when accelerating, making it dangerous to drive in high-traffic areas. A mechanic told me it sounded like an issue with the pressure pump, I believe. So we're looking for a guide to assist with a transmission swap, preferably a free one.

I'm out for the same treasure. Mine sounds like it *may* be having similar issues (too short of a problem description to be sure), but from I read was due to problems with the solenoids on the valve body. Have you found anything yet?
