First of all, it was because I already knew about A-Frame suspensions. I wanted to see what I-Beam suspensions were all about. I figured that if I could modify ford front ends, the rest would be a piece of cake. What happened after that was all about following the thing to the end of the road. Chevy would have been a metric ton cheaper, but at the time it just didn't matter. Got news too - my pet project now is a 1972 VW Super Beetle. I also have "The GEO from HELL" on the sidelines as a project that has been put on the shelf for now. It's a 1994 Metro clone that will have a few extra ponies than it strictly ought to, I do stuff like that. By now, if I had gone Chevy to begin with I'd be running an S-10 with a 327 or a 350 in it, unless I went with a 283 for mileage and pure rock solid reliability. I'd like to see a 455 let out to 510 in an S-10... That would be the bomb.
