I own a 1966 C-10 Fleetside that has recently develpoed some shifting problems. It's a three speed on the column and it doesn't stay in first gear. I recently replaced the clutch and all that appears to working just fine. My thonght is that it's the bushings in the column as the gear shift is really loose. I've thought about replacing the entire column, but all the new colums out there seem to be used with a conversion kit to convert to a automatic. I don't want to go down that road if I can help it. I like the the manual. Is there any place I could find new/repro bushings?

Thank you in advance for your help,

Jen

You can get the bushings at the local Chevy garage but if it was me I would be thinking along the lines of a floor shifter instead.
