I currently run a 305, bored 30ver, biger cam, rebuilt(but stock) heads, edlebrock performer intake and edlebrock 650cfm carb, and headers. I like it because it goes ok(but not great) and it is decent on fuel. But I was thnking maybe I could get more performance from a 283 and more gas mileage from doing the same modifications to a 283. Does anyone have any advice on the topic or can you recomend a some books to read?
