'99 astro - mpg

can anyone tell me about what kind of mileage i can expect out of this 99 astro i bought - and love? thanks [:o]

My 98 averaged about 14mpg (town and hwy avg) for the first 5 years. I had the tranny rebuilt, then it averaged 21mpg.(town and hwy avg) So it depends on if GM fixed the tranny problem b4 yours was built, or if has been done since. I suppose.

want real answers go to fuel economy.gov. There is a site where folks post their actual fuel economy.

went to florida last month driving highway about 18 - 22 depending on your speed around 16 city -- had van for 7 years same mpg

Have another astro 95 with cold ait intake and an exhaust it gets 24 highway everyday and about 18 city

I get anywhere from 18-21 mpg (according to the overhead computer) on the highway. The computer in the overhead shows an overall avg mpg of 15.6.
