Hi, I had the same problem with my 2000 Venture and I was told it was the fuel level sending unit and $800.00 to replace. I ordered the part online for $110.00 and my husband and I did the work ourselves. It is pretty easy as my Venture has a plastic gas tank (big) and its held by 4 side to side brackets. It took us 2 hours (as we kept stoping and watching the kids) problem solved! When I inspected the unit that was in the tank I could easily see that one of the metals "teeth" was bent and that is why it was not registering the amount of fuel in the tank. I now have another problem with my engine light comming on, I had it scanned and I get a code that indicated a small emissions leak detected (or something like that) The guys at the auto parts told me to open and close the gas cap and reset the code, well it was fine for a week and now its back on. I also have the ABS and Trac Message on!! and yes the Air Bag light too [:@] Any ideas????? Thanks!
