Hi,

I am new here and I need some advice. My wife and I own an 2004 trailblazer ext. We love the car. It has about 46,000 miles on it and runs great. One of the things we love about it is the size. The third row is great and there is room behind it. I actually think this car has almost as much space as a for expedition. Anyway, I have smart buy on the car. The car can be turned in in Jan or I can buy it for $17,400. Chevy will give me 3.9 % for 48 months. I have had every intention of buying it. Early this spring I decided I will probably buy the car so I brought it to the dealer to do an inspection. I paid $700 for 45,000 mile service as well as a good cleaning of the injectors.

Tomorrow I am planning on putting a new set of tires on the car. Before I drop another $500 I wanted to make sure I should keep it and not turn it in. I went online and saw the saturn outlook which is really nice. Tomorrow mornign, I am going to test drive it. the real question is should I go ahead and buy my TB for $17,400 which is about $390/month for 48 months. Or shoudl I look to lease one of these saturns for like $450 a month. any advice would be very much appreciated.

Check the blue book value and see if it is a good deal.  My experience is that you are normally better off to buy the car instead of leasing.  Lease if you are going to keep the vehicle for a short period of time, <2 yrs.

The Saturn Outlook and its GMC twin are good looking vehicles.  Could be an alternative but more $$$.

If you like the TB and it the price is right, keep it.
