My fuel tank is leaking at the seams from rust. I plan to replace the tank and sending unit all at once. I can't find a sending unit for my car anywhere on the internet without going used. The helper fuel pump in the tank (main fuel pump mounted on block) is just as impossible to find. I'm sure the sending unit is in rough shape, because typical winter car tanks and sending units fuse into one mass rust piece over 5 to 10 years of NY winters (can be 8 months long). This car spent over 20 years in up-state NY and it showed when I first bought it. Can anyone tell me where to get a sending unit and replacement intank L69 type fuel pump? Winter is coming, and I hate cold starts now that the helper pump is broke. Thanks.
