First off, let me say that I am a Jeeper who is asking help for a co-worker. She had her car towed, and apparently, they used the trailing arms to do it. Well, they were damaged during this and need to be replaced. An independent shop quoted her ~$450 to replace them. I told her I could probably do it for considerably less. I have a complete garage full of tools and am pretty mechanically inclined. Now, I have not even had a chance to look at the vehicle yet so I don't know all of the specifics, but from her not-so-detailed description, both the left and right (lowers, I'm assuming?) need to be replaced. How much work is involved here? Any special tools needed? Any advice you can give would be appreciated.

Thanks!
