I have a 2000 blazer that we bought from an older couple. The vehicle only has 60000 miles and in great condition, but it happens to consume to much gas. It only goes up to 250 miles before filling it again. Can any one suggest or have an idea of what may be the problem?

I think a 2000 blazer only has about a 68litre tank or about 18 gallons, so with that calculation your should be getting around 14-16mpg....if Im right about the size which is not bad for in town driving, it has a big 4.3 V6 in it awsome engines, and are rated about ....if I remember correctly about 15-18 in town and 25-27 on the highway...so your not doing to bad...if it has mostly in town driving on it take it for a good burn on the highway, clean the cats, and **** out of the injectors.....and by good burn say 30-60 minutes highway speeds longer if you can, make a day of it take the family somewhere.
