ok guys..need some insite on this one..i just picked up a 87 monte with a 406 in her..now the starter is makin a horrible noise..looked at it..started snout was fubar..there was almost a 1/4 in shimm as well..but a new one on with no shimms.flex plate was bad too..put a new flex plate on..was ok for a few days and now im back to square one..onther thing is there is equall lenght long tubes would that make a difference? and suggestions
