Pictures don't do the setup justice. I tried different settings on my camera and nothing really grabbed the color well.

Doesn't the brighter fog lite decrease the effectiveness in a fog situation?

So if you wanted to have a functional fog lite, why make the existing one brighter? That actually reduces its effectiveness as a fog lite. Increases the "cool" factor if you run with them on all the time tho. I thought the reason fog lites were down low and less intense was to minimize reflection off the fog. Don't know about yellow.

n77nxc --> I really like the setup/look!!! I've been hoping someone would crack the HID fog lamp issue! Could shed some light on your install. Once you plugged the light into the socket, how did you splice into the harness? Your comment in the first post kinda threw me off. I don't know if I'm making this hard on myself when it shouldn't be, but would like some assurance before tackling.

I will get some pics of the housing hopefully today. It's super easy. The headlights are way more a pain in the a$$ than the fogs. quote:
