1st: Hi all!

then; perlease somebody, anybody help me out. Now let me tell a story..............

I am from Northern Ireland and have seen a '83 Chevy Malibu 5L V8 CL?? for sale. I am really tempted by this proposition (classic, american, big engine,etc.) but really can not find any info on this rare animal.

Can anyone help with any specs for this wagon, such as BHP, engine size, rear wheel drive, reliability, and general opinions????

Any feedback will be more than welcome

i think hp. would be in the 150 to 180 range they are very rilable engine provided they are well maintained. as for options anything goes as far as what they can come with p/w. p.b power seats mirors ....

Cheers dude, i suppose i was hopeing for 400bhp or some thing form a V8 but that shows how nuch I know about those engines,
and for something that looks like it may be heavy am not sure now I want to buy it.

P.S Do they make a nice V8 noise???

they are heavy around 3500lbs. ya they can make a nice deep rumble depending on what you do to the exuast.
