Now that the '07 Tahoe has been out for about 3 months, tell us what you have done to yours. What performance mods..what interior mods or additions...Or what "bling" you've added. And naturally, pics would be great.

All i've done was the 20's with 275/55r20 and the molded mud flaps, well also put a k&n filter in it and i'm not sure if it gave it power or took it away although it defenitly made the intake louder. put a bug deflector on the front and i got a whistle at 75mph. Was looking at billet front and rear bowtie's, but I think i'll just take the front one of and tape on a carbon fiber bowtie on the front cause the factory sticks out way too damn much and I gotta figure out what to do with the back.

oh yes yes, almost forgot, 8000k "diamond white" HID headlight kit. The real thing

Can you please expand on your HID kit? Did you do it yourself? How much did it cost you? Do you like it? Where did you get it?

Thanks!

I got my HID's from HID-LIghts
I installed them myself , but then again I do work at a chevy dealer as a tech. It was pretty easy though
air filter box pops right out as one piece. You can get to the bulbs on both sides by removing the black trim behind the light, so that you don't have to go through the fender well and remove the hidden headlight bolts.
The ballast/starter for the lights can be double side taped "comes with the kit" or you can screw them to the inside of the fender with some self tapping screws as i did.
I do love them, had a Diamond blue 8000k kit in my 2000 tahoe with projector headlights, also had the same kit in my 2005 Silverado 3500 8.1L Dually, then got a 7000k in my 2005 Avalanche z71, and now had to get another H& kit fo rmy 07 tahoe so i went with the diamond 8000k cause they're just the bomb.

The bulbs look greenish in the pic, although in real person they are that purplish/blue like you see on the higher model BMW and BENZ. I think it cost about $250 with shipping. Let me know if you want some picutres of where I mounted the ballast/starter.

Now for you, where'd you get that blingin grill and the bow-tie, do you have the rear one too?

thanks

Unfortunately, I don't think the back bowtie is available yet. I got the precision grill and the bowtie from AUTOBACS. I don't know where you live but there's a few of them in So. Cal. I installed both of them myself which surprised the heck out of me. It was pretty easy now that I think about it.

Which Kit did you exactly get from HID-Lights.com? I looked and the prices were around $335 plus shipping. Do you get them cheaper cuz you work for the dealer? Basically, the only things I want to do to my Tahoe are the HID lights, the back bowtie, and the Euro tailight. I kind of want to do something to the interior like seat covers but I don't really know. Any suggestion?

Thanks!

I have the Greystone LTZ. Among the other common upgrades, my favorite was chrome door handles. They got more comments than anything else. They really gave the 'hoe that subtle bling-thing. They were a challenge to put on, but worth it. If installation of real handles seems difficult, you can get adhesive "covers" that probably would be hard to tell at a glance. These can be found on eBay. Also, for those who don't want to buy billet or chrome bowties for the rear gate, you can warm up the rear gold bowtie with a heat gun. The gold tie will come off clean and leave a nice smooth chrome "indentation" that looks pretty cool without buying another bowtie.
