I've heard that the 2007 Silverado will have slightly different styling then the '07 Tahoe and Suburban. Have you heard the same?

Take care and God bless,

If there is a difference in the new silverado (not including the box) it will be very minor. even the drivetrain remains the same. A couple years after introduction the long standing 4L60E tranny will be replaced but not lost.

woow, well this is horrable. i went to the chevy dealership near my house. and i was going to get an estimated price on a 2007 chevy silverado 1500 reg cab, short bed, 4wd, 4.8L, 5 speed.

so i tell the guy what i want and ass soon as i say i want a 5 speed standard, he tells me chevy no long makes a pickup truck with a standard transmission in it... none, nada no 1500,2500, or 3500 standard trucks. so thats bad. i never thought i would see the day they stoped making chevy trucks standard....
so i was like ok, and he shows me a picture of the 2007 chevy truck.. as soon as i see it i wanted to THROW UP. it is absolutly disgusting. i am so pissed off at the GM trucks right now.... it makes me wanna buy a dodge.... coming from a chevrolet person... thats sickening..i am a die hard chevy person too. my family has had chevys sence as long as i can remember, thats all we drive... my great great grand father had a chevrolet pickup. i may be the first one in my family to break the long tradition of buying chevrolet products... i dont know what to do with myself...

heres a link to show a new 07 if anyone else wants to throw up

I'll keep my 1998 Z-71. I never liked the cat-eye front end on the current ones, and the 2007 looks worse.

I take back what I said earlier because those pictures of it were horrible, but what ever you do don't switch to ford. I can see dodge but I still probably wouldn't buy one.

If It's ugly maybe the ss version won't look to much like it, but if all else fails hopefully the ss has the ZO6 motor I heard it is going to find it's way into the silvarado.

Check out the September/October 2006 issue of TRUCK TREND magazine. The cover has photos of two gray GMs, a 2007 Siverado pickup and a 2007 Sierra pickup. The cover story is "SIVERADO & SIERRA - All you need to know about the trucks that must save GM". There's a pretty good article showing off much of the new GM stuff.

I am lucky enough to work at a GM dealership and have seen the new trucks. The body on the trucks is not the only thing that has changed. The frame is almost fully boxed now and the suspension has been reworked some. Mostly for ride quality. The rumor that the Z06 engine will be available in the SS is a true rumor. It will still be all wheel drive, but you will pay a pretty penny for the package and the engine. The interior will be exactly like the tahoes, but a little more truck like. We should start seing them in november, maybe late October. It is a mid year body change due to the fact that GM isn't doing so well right now.

Daniel,
You're an idiot!
The release date of the all new 2007 Silverado is not mid-year and has nothing to with the financial state or health and welfare of GM and please do tell where exactly that you have had the opportunity to see the new GMT900 trucks in person?
Which Chevrolet dealer do you work at, All American?
