okie dokie..... my friend and I have two malibu's of different years, mine being a 2002, her's i think is a 98(dunno). I am constantly having trouble with the theft system.... It's always able to be fixed if I wait 10 minutes with the car just on and not running....
Hers tends to stall on her in the middle of driving and the steering will lock on her and occasionaly the brakes will do the same.
Is there any way to remove the theft system??? It's nice to have, but more often than not it's an inconvienance(dunno how that's spelled..lol).
Help me help me! lol

i looked for the fuse, and kinda messed with it a bit, but it didn't do anything to the theft system. so i dunno what else to do... it seems that i just might have to just go to the dealership and have them remove it or something.
Does anyone know how the new malibu's handle and if they have a theft system or not. they look nice and they seem to be a smooth ride, but i hear they're a gas guzzler.

i know the cops in my town are using the new malibu for there new cop cars. i know there not exactly the same as you would buy from the showroom but they must think they are a good starting point. im not sure about the gas though cuse im sure the cops dont care about that.

yeah, i test drove one of the new malibu's.... gonna say I'm not too thrilled with it as much... other than it doesn't have a crazy theft system going off all the time.... yet. lol.
Thinking about getting it.... but not too sure on it yet. It's either that, or one of the old time malibu's that's in my neighborhood for sale for $1200. Obviously has some work needed on it.... but it's all good.
