hey, i just got a 1982 monte carlo. and pulled the 4.3 litre engine, and have a 350 i want to mount in its place. i know that they are the same engine with the back 2 cyl. cut off, but the engine mounts need changed. is there any way i can move the ones i have... it looks like if i take them and switch their sides, and pull them forward like an inch ittl give me the 4 inches of clearance i need. does any one know what to do and if i need to buy something where to buy? i really need a carb, and the headers i have dont give enough clearance for the old mounts... whatever
email me.
