Does anyone know if 15" wheels from a 2001 Malibu fit a 2006 Chevy Malibu Maxx with 16" wheels? I have some snow tires mounted on a set of alloy wheels from a 2001 Malibu and would not like to have to buy another set of snow tires and wheels. The brake caliperlooks pretty close to the inside of the wheels on the 2006. I have not tried the 15" wheels yet. Thanks!

I meant to say caliper. I tried the wheels from the 2001 Malibu yesterday. The bolt pattern is different. So it will not work. I found a set of wheels from a newer malibu which are 15" I should be able to put the tires from the 2001 malibu on them. tire size is one size off, I should not tell the difference. I just hope the 15" wheels from a LS fit on my MAXX lt Mike
