I have a 2003 cavalier and I have had problems with the ABS system. I was told I have ABS, there is a fuse for it and it is not blown. But recently I can be going anywhere from 10 to even 60 mph in really light rain or wet roads and if i just touch the brakes and turn a bit the brakes lock up and I start to skid. I was just getting use to it until I almost slammed into an alero going 60 on the freeway, So I would like to get the problem fixed any suggestions?

Also just wondering if how the tires get rotated on my car also, do they criss-cross, or go front to back?

Is the ABS light on ??

Normally when the ABS system has a malfunction the light will be lit and the system will disengage leaving you with regular braking. Is there an indication if it's the rear or front brakes that seem to be locking up ?

No the light is not on, I forgot to mention that. And it is the front cause I have zero steering. I will turn the wheel and nothing will happen, but the second I release the brake the tires grab and I got flying across the lane.
