what all would be needed to fully swap out my auto-trac transfer case and put in the manual unit from the same year? i dont want to even be able to remember that that g$d d!mn thing was ever in my truck. plus im going to a solid axle swap soon and i dont want ne problems out of my 4wd

no one has even a hint, i know most of the sequence in doing this i just need to know what kind of gremlins im in for.

i would think you might run into problems with the electrical but idk man. im not good with electronics. quik question? did they ever come with the option of manual Tcase?

98 was the first year for the automatic transfer case. The vehicles are just about identical. I don't know about in 99, but some of the 98's had manual and some autos.

kool, i just bought my first full sized chevy so im pretty satisfied with it so far, its a 95 Z71 its got alot of highway miles and the guy who had it before me kept it clean so i hope it all works out for me
