I have a 327 camel hump motor I bought 20+ years ago that has been sitting in my shop sense then. IS there a way I can ID it for exact information and if so, what part of the motor do I find the numbers? Where do I go to cross the numbers for the information? I bought it to put in a stock car back then but never did ,so I am going to sell it . Thought maybe someone was looking for an old motor to match thier year of car. thanks in advance for any help.

look on the pad on pass side, front of the engine, even with the spot where the heads double hump marks are. There will be some numbers/letters part of which are the orig vin of the car it came out of. Also the casting numbers on the head can be traced. Put them up here or PM me and I can run them.
