I currently have a 350 gm goodwrench motor with about 6000 miles on it. I'm pretty sure it was originally rated around 190 hp. I would like to get it to 300 if possible. Had planned on edelbrock performer kit (intake, cam, 650 thunder avs) and the MSD ignition pack with headers and exhaust system. I don't know if this is enough or if I need to change some internals or heads? Let me know if you have any suggestions.

as long as your not using the crappy smog heads then you shouldnt have to change them to get 300. I suggest getting a nice mild cam, intake, carb and exhaust. the only internals you need to change to get 300 is prolly the cam.
