My problem is with the Bose sound system. I just bought a new 2007 Trailblazer and the sound quality of the Bose stereo is horrible. This doesn't make sense as my old 2002 Trailblazer was very good, not world class but better than most. My new one sounds more like an AM radio with little separation and Bass that is hardly noticeable. I have taken it to the dealer twice and they acknowledge that the sound quality is not very good. Has anyone else noticed the sound difference? It really gets bad when listening to XL satellite. Are there any options for me? Can I replace the amp and speakers or are they integrated into the system. My service mgr thinks I can but the fronts are 8" woofers which are not readily available. This is very frustrating and I now regret buying it. I should have checked the stereo thoroughly before driving it off the lot but my old one was great and assumed the Bose quality would continue. Thanks.
