noisy diesel in '99 suburban - 5/26/2007 11:45:17 AM    jkosullivan   Posts: 3 Joined: 5/26/2007 Status: offline and i mean really clattery noisy at start-up, not as bad after warming up. not too bad cruising on hwy. pretty nasty driving around town in stop & go conditions. 140K miles. '99 suburban diesel. 20 mpg @ 65 70 hwy driving. any constructive suggestions on how to quiet the beast down, short of major engine work ? Post #: 1
