I really would like to purchase the new Tahoe but want to wait for the 2008 because I dont want all the 2007 bugs. Anyone have any idea when they are coming out or are taking orders for 2008? I would really like to have it for atleast August.

Normally new models aren't out 'til late Sept.  Probably can order in late July/early August.  One thing about the 2007 bugs is most of them have known fixes.    Of course with few changes with 2008, there may not be many "new" bugs.

Not really.  If you want a new one by Aug, then it'll probably have to be a 2007.  The downside to buying this late in the model year is you get two year's depreciation in just a few months.
Keep that in mind when negotiating for a 2007.

I dont know what you mean by "two years depreciation" if it dosent have any miles on it and is the same bodystyle as the 08 why does it get two years depreciation.

Because it's still an 07 model?

Yes, but when he goes to sell his '07 he'll have alot less miles than the '07's purchased in '06.  So he'll gain his value back there.

Typically GM will offer incentives on the previous model year vehicles that are not offered on the new models, this is done to compensate for the extra years depreciation.
If you were to purchase an 07 at the end of the year and drive it a normal amount of miles each year then after 3-5 years you would have an 07 with low miles where-as if you had bought the 08 instead you would now have an 08 model with normal or high miles.
