Other then the normal, but are some gas saving items that you have added to your trucks that work? I have a 95 2 wheel drive long bed, 5.7.
Even if I was to rebuild the engine what would be a good way of rebuilding to get better mpg.?

Just be glad you don't have the 8.1. MPG is about 11.5 /gal.

Good luck in finding something that works. And please share it .

haha i got 95 k1500 that sucks fuel down like nothing 10 mpg in the city the only way i found to save gas was drafting semi's on the freeway and keeping you foot out of it thats all i can think of it lol
