I have been told to look around at electric cut-outs for my 99 chevy silv. I dont know much about cut-outs or where they are mounted. I like to take mine off road a bit and I was told they would add torque and horsepower. Also make my truck sound bad as anything at the flip of a switch. Anyone have any advice or tips or basicly anything on cut-outs on trucks??? Thanks

I just had a friend that got a cut out done on his Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it's pretty cool. On the Jeep he put it in between his cat and muffler I believe, and it pretty much just makes the exhaust go in a Y shape. One fork of the Y goes through the muffler when the cut out is closed and when open it doesn't even make it to the muffler and the exhaust comes right out from the opened cut out hole. All done with the flip of a switch. Pretty easy.
