Has anybody had any issues with excessive oil consumption on their manual trans Cobalt LT...not SS?  I have 11,500 miles on it.  Mine kicks out a puff of smoke from the tailpipe after decel/ downshifting.  RPM nevers gets over 3200 rpm when downshifting but I nearly always get a puff of smoke from the tailpipe at the end of downshift.  Occurs most frequently when making decel followed by a right turn.  It has done the same thing on a straight line decel but not nearly as consistent.  My Dealership implies I'm driving aggressively but I'm averaging 33-34 mpg...so I doubt that is the case.  The vehicle is using about 1qt every 500 miles.

Seems to me there's a problem here but not getting a lot of interest from GM yet.
