89 c1500. what runs off the computer?

1989 C1500 2wd, carberated 350, Monster 700r4 transmission.

Now that i have a new engine and transmission that doesent run off the computer. i want to eliminate it.

I have all new gauges that are all wired without the computer. but what does the computer run other then the old fuel injection sysyem. i mean if i rip it out, will i lose my lights, fusebox, wipers, and all the other electrical stuff?
