I subscribe to a couple other forums, depending on what I'm driving at the moment. Even though I'm a master technician with 28 years of experience, I found that the best information comes from car enthusiasts. AllData and Mitchell cannot tell you everything. I currently belong to a jeep, Grandam, chevy blazer and dodge intrepid forums. The reason I registered here is because I "inherited" my daughters '05 Cavalier LS which my wife took a loan out for back in august of last year (nothing like a mothers trust). Needless to say my daughter is less than responsible. The car is a wreck. Over $1200 in body damage, rear taillamp assembly busted out, interior is trashed, two front hub bearings are wasted, front pads are gone and 17k on the clock and not a drop of oil showing on the stick. Yeah, I got sick too. My plan is to bring it back to near new condition and keep the miliage as low as possible then sell it or trade it in for something more to my liking.
I'm sure I will learn a few things from here and hope I can help out others. I'll be looking forward to reading and posting here.
