I'm looking to buy a used Center Console for my 1996 Chevy Tahoe.
The one I want to buy, says its out of a 1999 Suburban, but it's listed that
it will fit a 96/97/98/99 Suburban/Tahoe ect.

So I'm asking the more knowledgeable members (or GM Parts Guys) if this indeed WILL
be a direct bolt on (with no fabrication) in my 96 Tahoe?

The Console I have in my Tahoe currently is a Morphadite.
The previous owner had glued a Rock Sculpture to the top of it!

I told the Dealership to "Make it go away", that is why I'm asking.

Is it easy to replace?
Can it be done from inside the Cab, without going under the Truck or removing Carpet ect???
