Had a 2000 Impala and changed air filter with some difficulty by just undoing the 2 clips at the top of the air filter box, but the 2005 monte carlo does not have enough flex in the plastic to pull out the air filter. If someone could point me to another post or post a reply showing or telling how to do this easily, I would greatly appreciate it.
