well caprice guys.... its was time to chage the 305 for a 350 in my 92 caprice. I sold my 79 vette and now have alot a money to cramm into the caprice. I have many ideas on what to do but dont have alot of time. so far I got a used 91-92 350 9c1 cop motor and plan on rebuiding it. my dad fussed all day when he saw my vette get driven away. he thinks the caprice is a waste of time but I live in detroit where's a bundle of caprice's but none worth looking at so... time to change that. I want a black on black caprice with red rally stripes going down the center, 17x8.5 impala ss rims painted black, and at least a 2" drop.

Put a 350 ci, engine with flat top pistons, and a LT1 cam.  Install a TBI spacer, and see the low end torgue climb.

looks like Im going to stall on this project for a couple of weeks. my woman got my 98 malibu stolen and now I just spent a couple grand on another car. dont hate me because....the malibu's replacement is an 84 FORD mustang. Im thinking later on I might drop in a nice350 and change the mustangs name into a chevy stallion or something....

Just a thought: instead of painting the expensive ss rims black, you could use 80 and 90's? 15x8 truck rims. They are the ones that have the slots around the perimeter in lieu of the oblong holes like the 15x7 9C1 steel rims. Actually, the 15x8's were an option on the Caprice SS 9C1's, and since they were also a chev/gmc truck rim, they have the holes to mount the chrome centre cap. I have set, but i believe they are a little hard to find, as I think the standard rims in that slotted hole style on the trucks was 15x6, with the optional 15x7's being a bit more common.
