Hello,  I find myself in need of some expert info, and not sure who to trust or where to get it.  I'm a widow and I have a "big block" motor or a stand in the garage.  Several people have approached me to sell it, but none seem to know what it's worth.  I don't believe that for a second...but I do need to know what it's worth.  Are there markings on it somewhere to indicate exactly what it is?  I think it's a 427 and is clean and ready to rebuild.  It may be a mid-year motor possibl,. because that's primarily what we traded in for years; mid-year muscle cars and vettes.  I would really appreciate any honest information anyone would give.  Thanks, I'll check back regularly.  Blondie2u
