Hello i have a 93 chevy suburban and just pulled the motor out and replaced it. im wondering can i take that 350 and swap it into a 88 k1500. it has the 305 in it now. but im wondering if the wiring harness will work for the 93 motor? i know it will bolt in to the frame/tranny just unsure about the wiring harness anyone know?????

Ok I am not quite sure about that. But my gess would be know. I think that because a lot did change scene then. But i am also ALMOST positive that there would be somekind of addapter that you could get that could help you out. sorry about all the spelling i have to make this post quick bare with me please.

Both motors are tbi and are basically the same but are the computers and harneses difernent

see that is what i thought. But would you have to change out the whole computer

wat about just swaping the proms form the computers? wouldnt that work or do i need to find a computer. and wat computer would i need one thats compadiable with a 350. or do i need to get a specific computer for that motor?

just take the senor,s and other thing,s off the 305 and place them on the 350 I have done it before.
