91 Lumina engine swap?

I have a 91 Lumina euro with a bad 3.1 motor and trans, I also have a 88 Cutlass Supreme with a rebuilt motor and trans. Is it possible to put the 2.8 motor and trans into the Lumina? If so what kind of problems can I expect to run into? Thanks.

is the 88 carb or fuel injected? if its injected then you my be able to do the switch but you would have to change the computer and all the wiring sencers and all that stuff. it depends on how much experiance you have in doing this sort of thing as to how long it would take.
