hello my name is terry, im from kansas city. my dad has a 1962 chevy nova ss but is giving it to me, he hasnt started it in a year and i need help to figure out was is wrong with it. we bought a new battery but it wont start or make any sounds, i have no idea what is wrong with it. if u have any idea what i should do or anything plz tell me. thanx.

if it hasnt started in a year i would say first change all the fluids as well as put new gas in it. then depending on where it was stored the mice may have gotten into it. cheack all the wiring. go from the battery to the starter and the ignition fuses and so on also tap the starter lightly 1 or 2 times to help it out. post back and let me know how it goes good luck they are cool cars.
