    i have a 99 and the cooling fan motor crapped out on me after 187,000 miles. i went to pull it out according to the haynes manual but there the top passenger side is snagged on something, there is no bolt there. can anyone help me out give me a nifty trick to get this piece out..

I had the same problem, but eventually after sliding it back and forth from passenger side to driver side, found the opening at the top where it slides out: there seems to be slots that you need to align to get it in or out.  I think I had to slide it a fair way toward the passenger side.  When you find out, mark the location and let us know exactly where it was.
