I just bought a 2007 Classic Silverado a few months ago and I am on my second power steering pump. The first one howled and now the second one makes some sort of a swooshing noise when I accelerate (not moving the steering wheel). This noise is only present after the engine has warmed up to 200 degrees. GM says that's normal, I don't think so. Any ideas as to the problem and potential solution?

If there is air in the sytem, it can cause noise. There is a procedure to bleed the power steering system. Loose connections may not leak, but may allow air to enter the system. Check for loose connections. Check to be sure that no hoses are touching the frame, engine, or body. They can transmit and amplify noises.
