Hey guys, I'm putting some new wheels and tires on my 2000 ss and I just want to make sure I can go with 17x8 size wheels. I know the 17" diameter is fine but 8" wide rims don't rub when turning in the front or anything do they? I just don't want to buy them and find out they don't fit when they arrive. Thanks for the help.

i think they should be ok if the rest of the suspention is stock. if seen some with 20"s on and they had very little rubing with very sharp turns so i think yours should be ok
