RE: Gas Mileage Sucks - 4/9/2007 10:15:21 AM    cocodrie55   Posts: 27 Joined: 2/2/2007 Status: offline Usually I get a little less than the DIC says, once a got a little more.  I may call Chevrolet 1-800 number today to talk to them about it.  I was mostly concerned that it never runs in V4 mode and I thought there might be something wrong with the vehicle.  But it sounds like maybe not compared to other responses.  If Chevrolet can add any info I'll let everyone know. We were on the fence 5.3 vs 4.8 for her new baby carrier....   The dealer told us that the wife would get better MPGs in the 4800 since we did not tow & drive in FL only.  Never even tried to sell us on the 4/8 & Flex fuel.   We cant buy corn in our local town - I would have ran out of flex fuel coming home from buying it... We get 15.9 city & 17/19 hwy /20s...  That is what the DIC says, but she has yet to do the math and see if the computer is correct.. KW (in reply to rat55chevy) Post #: 13
