hey everyone, im a new member of the CF forums, and a new chevy owner. Well not new a 1982 monte carlo. I bought the car from my cousin. Its funny actually, becasue my grandpa sold it to her because she thought she would keep it in better condition than any one else in the family and instead she is trashing it. Whatever im buying it off her but there we a few things i needed to know about it and i couldnt find on the internet. However if you all might know some place i could find it... that would be awesome.

i bought the car, (4.3 ltr engine) with the dream of putting in my Chevy 350 smallblock and turbo 350 tranny. I was wondering what all i needed for the engine mounts and such but i cant find anywhere on line that it says ... YOU NEED THIS ENGINE MOUNT or anything like that. but this is going to be a trick ride and i would like to have everything in proper order.

just wondering what kind of mount im going to need to put on this engine. Its a 350 with new cams, new crank, edelbrock topkit, and only 30,000 miles on it. also bored .30 over. So i was wondering if regular engine mounts are going to work of if im going to need to get high performance. you know what i mean? whatever. its going to be a trick ride once its done, but i want it done right.

i have experience with the whole rebuilding cars thing... well trucks. i rebuilt a 1950 ford F-1 pickup, but ive noticed that theres some differences when it comes to the two. whatever.

any information would be good information.
thanks
joe
