Hi, I have a 1986 Chevy short bed pickup with a 350sb and it has the smog component installed. I was wondering if I could remove the component without ruining the way the truck runs. I've heard from local people that it robs gas mileage plus horsepower, and its not required in KS. Any suggestions?
